Edmund (or Edmond) Jean Leon Hubert Wingen was the son of Jan Wingen. He was born in Maastricht on September 8th, 1906 and died in The Hague on February 9th, 1971. His work included sculptures, paintings and ceramics. To celebrate his fiftieth birthday, a small book was published in 1956 about the life of the painter and with several reproductions of his work.
