Contrary to popular belief many prewar-cars are still around us. Just look, they’re not difficult to spot. No, don’t look in the streets, but try higher up. See that sandstone frieze on the wall? Is that pick-up truck an AA-Ford? Whatever, it’s being loaded with beer barrels because this frieze is part of the Heineken brewery in Rotterdam. It was opened in 1932, unfortunately the brewery is no longer in use; its space is now being used by local businesses.
